A borough is defined as town or city that has its own government. Scarborough was independent for over 200 years and during that time established a diverse, hard working, and talented identity known for its toughness. Since joining Toronto as part of the SIx, part of that identity has been lost. Now is the time for Scarborough to unite, reclaim our identity, and be proud of where we are from. To all of us from Scarborough, there will always be only one Borough
