What is the borough FC?

The Borough Football Club, Scarborough's Newest Pro-am Soccer Club, is set to kickoff in Spring 2024 in League1 Ontario, embodying the community's passion with a foundation in hard work, talent, and diversity. Rooted in the vibrant streets and communities of Scarborough, the team will showcase skill and resilience on the field while actively engaging in local initiatives that extend beyond the game.

  • in 2024 The Borough FC is fielding 2 teams. The first team is an adult mens team playing in League1 Ontario League2 and the Men’s reserve team is playing in the League1 Ontario U20 Reserve League

  • The League 1 Ontario season kicks off in late April, our schedule will be released in early March with home matches being played at 7pm on Saturday nights.

  • Our team will be playing at the legendary Birchmount stadium, at the heart of our city.

  • A borough is defined as town or city that has its own government. Scarborough was independent for over 200 years and during that time established a diverse, hard working, and talented identity known for its toughness. Since joining Toronto as part of the SIx, part of that identity has been lost. Now is the time for Scarborough to unite, reclaim our identity, and be proud of where we are from. To all of us from Scarborough, there will always be only one Borough

  • A borough describes a general type of place, but “The Borough” represents a specific location, one that in the GTA needs no explanation. Toronto may have 6 districts, but the is only one true borough…Scarborough.

  • The Borough FC is kicking off in 2024 with just the Men’s program, but intends to add a Women’s First Team and Reserve Team in the upcoming seasons.

  • Season Tickets and individual match tickets will be available for sale on this website once the schedule is announced. Sign up with you email on the site and we will let you know when they are available.
