The Borough FC Goalkeeper program
The Borough FC Goalkeeper Program, led by Jon Franco provides an elite, high-performance training environment tailored to the demands of the modern goalkeeper. Coach Franco holds the Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma and brings over 10 years of coaching experience, most recently within the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) and League1 Ontario.
Aligned with Canada Soccer’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model, the program prioritizes technical excellence, tactical understanding, athletic development, and the psychological components required for success in the position.
Program Structure
Goalkeepers receive:
Specialized GK training once per week during the winter season
Twice-weekly goalkeeper training throughout the outdoor season
